Addiction rates can be as high as 23% of users according to sources and is often cited as a gateway drug to heroin and other illegal drugs1. Overdose is also a growing cause of accidental death. A recent study was conducted in New Hampshire found that individuals that utilized chiropractic care were 55% less likely to utilize opioids for pain management2. This is encouraging news.
